Hope Haven CEO To Retire

hope havenRock Valley, Iowa — The man who has been at the helm of Hope Haven in Rock Valley for more than 30-years has decided it’s time to retire.

Hope Haven CEO David VanNingen says he came to work at Hope Haven in June of 1986.

VanNingen told KIWA that he has been fortunate enough to work providing support to people with disabilities ever since he graduated from college.

He says working at Hope Haven has been, what he calls, “an incredible experience.”

VanNingen says that he and his family found Rock Valley a great place to call home.

We asked him about his plans once he retires.

VanNingen will officially retire as CEO of Hope Haven in June of this year.
