A weak disturbance will continue to bring a wintry mix of precipitation across the region today into late this evening. Periods of light snow showers will continue to move east into northwest Iowa and southwest Minnesota this morning. Snow will change to light freezing rain/drizzle or sleet across south central South Dakota this morning, before spreading eastward into I-29 during the afternoon and evening hours. Total ice accumulations of a light glaze to a few hundredths of an inch are expected. Snow amounts will remain on the light side; less than an inch.
