RiseFest Announces Two More Artists For 2020

Sheldon, Iowa — RiseFest, the annual Christian music festival in Sheldon has announced two more artists for this coming summer’s festival.

Returning with a twist will be longtime Christian music favorite, Newsboys UNITED. This version of the group features current and original members. Also making their second RiseFest appearance, chart-topping group, Big Daddy Weave.

President and Founder of RISE Ministries, Rob Roozeboom says, “I know we’ve had Newsboys at RiseFest, but we’ve never had Newsboys United! That means Peter Furler and Phil Joel will be with us, singing songs like “Shine” and “Entertaining Angels.”

He says that means you’ll get to hear “the songs you love from multiple decades!” Roozeboom says RiseFest officials are excited to end RiseFest with this type of worship.

Big Daddy Weave will be coming back to the festival as well. Roozeboom says that it’s been a few years since they’ve been in Sheldon, but he says RiseFest officials, “couldn’t be more excited.”

He says that Big Daddy Weave is one of the most ministry-minded bands they’ve ever worked with.
