Sanborn Railroad Days Promise Fun For All

Sanborn, Iowa — Next in the series of northwest Iowa summer festivals is the town of Sanborn with its annual Railroad Days.

All the fun starts on Friday, says Sanborn Chamber Director Sally Smith. She tells us that the featured event this year is the Sanborn Christian School Centennial.

She says one of the events on Saturday night didn’t make the flyer, but they’d like everyone to attend.

She also reminds everyone to check out all their food stands.

Other activities include a tractor ride, a flea market, golf and disc golf, the Masons’ Pancake Breakfast on Saturday and the Omelet Breakfast on Sunday. There will be a parade on Saturday and the White Horse Patrol will make an appearance. Human Foosball will be played, and there will be tours of the HMS school and an all-school reunion supper. There’s a DJ on Friday night and a Street Dance on Saturday night. All that and more at Railroad Days in Sanborn this weekend.
