Sheldon High Crowns Homecoming King and Queen

Sheldon, Iowa — This is Homecoming week at the Sheldon Community Schools, and the high school crowned their Homecoming King and Queen in a Coronation ceremony held Tuesday night in the high school gym.

Queen candidates were Orab seniors: Emma Barwick, daughter of Gary and Cindy Barwick; Ada Borer, daughter of Cory and Josephine Borer; Alexis Crawley, daughter of Daniel and Heather Crawley; Megan Jager, daughter of Shane and Christie Jager; and Maliah Kleinhesselink, daughter of Kevin and Staci Kleinhesselink.

Candidates for Homecoming King included: Shane Brouwer, son of Mike Brouwer and Trisha Brouwer; Max Hamill, son of Chad and Beth Hamill; Joe Kim, son of Sawan Kim; Braden Schwartz, son of Chad and Maria Schwartz; and Brady Van Meeteren, son of Brian and Jill Van Meeteren.

The Coronation ceremony culminated in the coronation of Max Hamill, as the 2021 Orab Homecoming King. The Homecoming Queen’s crown went to Ada Borer.

Queen Ada and King Max will now reign over the remaining Homecoming activities, including Friday night’s Homecoming football game against West Lyon.
