Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon High School speech students will be showcasing their talents Thursday evening in the high school auditorium.
Sheldon High School Language Arts Instructor Jodi Grant tells KIWA that the groups who received a Division One rating at District Speech Contest will be performing Thursday evening.
She says thirteen different groups will be showcased during Thursday evening’s event.
Grant says that all but ten of the seventy-three students who took part in the District Contest will be advancing to State Contest, which is scheduled for Saturday in Spencer.
Thursday’s Speech Showcase will begin at 6:00 pm in the Sheldon High School Auditorium. The public is welcome, and there will be a small admission charge.
