Sutherland, Iowa — Over 500 electric customers of MidAmerican Energy were in the dark on Tuesday morning — thanks to a squirrel.
MidAmerican Energy Spokesperson Geoff Greenwood tells us about it.
Greenwood says most of the customers affected by the outage were in the city of Sutherland, but there were some in rural O’Brien County as well. The power was out for just under two hours.
