Hull, Iowa — You may remember that the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was recently looking for the public’s help to find a trailer that had been reported stolen from a Hull construction business. As it turns out, the trailer wasn’t stolen after all.
The trailer was reported as stolen on Tuesday, August 15th, and at that time it was thought it had been stolen at some point between May 15th and that date.
Authorities report that the black 20-foot flatbed trailer with fold-up steel ramps on the back was recovered after the Sheriff’s Office received a call from a citizen who stated he moved the trailer from one property to another. They were told that the trailer was moved after it remained on the property for an extended period of time after work crews hired to do construction work left it there.
The Sheriff’s Office determined that the trailer was not stolen.
