Sheldon, Iowa — It’s almost time once again for a Sheldon tradition — the annual Independence Day celebration put on by Village Northwest Unlimited (VNU).
Village CEO Barry Whitsell tells us about the celebration, which, as tradition demands, starts on Friday, July 3rd.
Whitsell says it’s a family event.
But that’s not all.
He tells us about the fireworks.
Whitsell tells us the event is NOT a fundraiser for VNU.
VNU’s Independence Day festivities begin at 5:30 pm on Friday, July 3rd with the opening of the food trucks. It’s all on the Village Northwest Unlimited Campus, one block north of Sheldon High School. For more information, as well as photos from last year’s event, visit the Village Northwest Unlimited website.
