(KIWA Staff Photo)Northwest Iowa (KUOO) — Several entities in the region have been awarded funding through the most recent round of grants from the Alliant Energy Foundation.
The Ashton and Ocheyedan Fire Departments were each awarded $1,000. The Emmet County Cattlemen’s Association will receive $500. In Dickinson County, several organizations will share $10,500, including the Harris-Lake Park Alumni Association, Elderbridge Agency on Aging, the Lakes Area Senior Center, the Iowa Lakes Community College Foundation, and the Friends of the Milford Library Foundation.
The City of Sioux Rapids was awarded $1,000 for upgrades to a city park.
The foundation is funded solely by Alliant Energy shareowners.
