Northwest Iowa — Those attending the Iowa State Fair once again this year have an opportunity to learn firsthand what the Iowa State Patrol is up to these days. Trooper Kevin Krull just did his stint at the fair. He says a lot of the conversations they’re having pertain to speeding.
Krull says another thing they’ve been hearing a lot from people pertains to the 60 mph speed limit and why it isn’t in place on ALL two-lane roads in Iowa.
He says a number of factors go into determining the speed limits and why they weren’t bumped up to 60 on some of those roads.
Krull says while it can be confusing given all the different speed limits that are out there, the best advice is to simply drive whatever the posted limit is for the particular road you are on.
