Alton, Iowa — A Paullina man was taken to a hospital after an accident on Highway 60 on Wednesday.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 6:55 p.m., 48-year-old John Krause of Paullina was driving a 1999 Honda GL1500 motorcycle northbound on Highway 60, about a mile south of Alton, when he entered the median and lost control.
The Alton Ambulance took him to the Orange City Area Health System. His injuries were thought to be minor.
The Honda sustained $5,000 in damage.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office tells us the Alton Fire Department, Alton Ambulance Squad, the Orange City Fire Department, and the Orange City Police Department assisted with the response to the accident.
