Northwestern enters the season with two major changes: a new $875 million Ryan Field set to open in October, and a new offensive coordinator in Chip Kelly, one of the most recognizable names in college football. Head coach David Braun says the program is embracing higher expectations.
Braun and the Wildcats open the season Saturday, September 5th, hosting South Dakota State at their temporary lakefront stadium. Northwestern will debut the new Ryan Field on October 2nd, when they host Penn State.
