Iowa State Looks To Bounce Back At Kansas

Iowa State has been very good at bouncing back from a loss under Matt Campbell and that will be the goal this week against Kansas.

The Cyclones are coming off a 31-24 loss in their Big 12 opener against Baylor.

That’s senior receiver Xavier Hutchinson who says this is a much improved Kansas team from the one the Cyclones beat 59-7 last season.

Hutchinson on the style of defense they will see from the Jayhawks.

Iowa State’s defense will try to slow down a Kansas offense that is averaging more than 48 points and 246 yards of rushing per game. Cyclone junior defensive lineman MJ Anderson says it will take a disciplined approach.

Anderson says the Cyclones moved on from the loss to Baylor immediately after the game.

The transfer from Minnesota has made an immediate impact on the defense.
