The 2026 State Track and Field competition takes over the “Blue Oval” at Drake Stadium in Des Moines this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Thursday’s schedule opens with Class 1A and 4A running events in the morning into early afternoon, followed by Class 2A and 3A running events in the late-afternoon and evening. Field events follow the same format, with 1A and 4A in the morning and 2A and 3A in the evening.
