Sheldon, Iowa — Excellence For East’s Ties and Tiaras has become an annual dance for dads and daughters in Sheldon.
This year Ties and Tiaras will be on Saturday, May 6th from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at East Elementary in Sheldon. The theme of the night will be “Candyland”. Ties and Tiaras are for girls in sixth grade or under. These girls can bring an adult male such as their dad, uncle, or grandpa. The girls who attend the dance do not need to be a student in Sheldon.
Tickets are on sale now. You can get tickets online at Eventbrite or on the Excellence For East Facebook page for $20 and $5 for each additional daughter. Tickets can also be bought at the door on the day of the dance and will be $25 and $5 for each additional daughter.
There will be music, dancing, a photo booth, a beauty station, games, and snacks at the dance. If dads would like to they can purchase a Ties and Tiaras corsage for $12. If you’d like to get a corsage call Sarah Van Meeteren at (712) 539-8077.
