Join the Sheldon Public Library Tuesdays for Toddler Time. This event is designed for 1- to early 3-year-olds and their caregivers. You and the library will share books, songs, fingerplays, felt boards, whole body movement and more. Siblings are also welcome. This event starts at 10:30 a.m. and lasts for 20 to 30 mintues, followed by playtime.

For ages 12-18: Preventionist Specialist, Cheryl, from the nonprofit, Rosecrance, will be coming to teach 6th-12th graders the risks of gambling, gaming, and other activities. She will share about what is happening in the gaming/gambling industry to entice players and why some are becoming dependent (addicted) to their screens and/or games. She will provide a presentation and a balloon activity for the students to participate in. Snacks and beverages will be provided. |

Winter Fireworks Window
The City of Sheldon reminds the public that winter Fireworks are only allowed between the hours of noon of New Year’s Eve, December 31 and 12:30 a.m. on New Year’s Day. Therefore, the firework window for New Year’s Eve is now 12 hours and just a half hour on New Year’s Day. |

The Everly Dance is on Saturday, January 3rd at the Hap Kettleson Community Center in Everly, Iowa. Doors open at 6:15 p.m., and the dancing runs from 7:00 to 10:30 with live music from Still Cruizin. Put on your dancing shoes and enjoy a fun, social evening on the dance floor.
