Rock Valley, Iowa– A Rock Valley woman was taken to the hospital after a car partially ran over her in Rock Valley.
The Rock Valley Police Department reports that about 12:30 p.m. on Monday, October 22, 2018, 38-year-old Trish Boersma of Rock Valley was pushing her disabled 2013 Chrysler on her driveway on Seventeenth Street in order to jump-start the car.
The report says that the Chrysler began to roll backward due to the incline of the driveway, and as a result, Boersma was partially run over by the front wheel.
The Rock Valley Ambulance took Boersma to Hegg Health Center Hospital.
The Rock Valley Police Department, Rock Valley Ambulance Squad, and Rock Valley Fire Department assisted at the scene.
