Primghar, Iowa — Last week we told you about a high-speed chase that moved through O’Brien County. The pursuit took place Wednesday evening, and, according to witnesses, the pursuit ran through Sheldon, on Highway 18, at one point.
O’Brien County authorities say there isn’t much more to report on that pursuit. They say that the chase was abandoned once it became too dangerous to continue.
Eyewitnesses who saw the chase come through Sheldon tell us that, at that point in the pursuit, officers from the Sanborn Police Department, Sheldon Police Department, and the Iowa State Patrol were involved in that chase.
