Couple In Hot Water For Forgery, Theft, More In Sioux Center

Sioux Center, Iowa — A northwest Iowa couple are in serious trouble following an incident Tuesday at the Sioux Center Bomgaars store.

According to court records obtained by KIWA, 30-year-old Reva Ann Burns of Le Mars and 30-year-old Zachary Ray Golden of Sioux City are each charged with Felony Forgery and 3rd Degree Theft, an Aggravated Misdemeanor after allegedly purchasing more than $1150 worth of merchandise with forged checks.

Court records indicate that Burns opened a fraudulent Capitol One credit account using her mother’s information, and with that account she is accused of writing the false checks. Golden allegedly participated in writing the checks and allegedly possessed one of the checks in his wallet.

In addition, Burns was charged with Driving While License Under Suspension, along with Driving While License Denied or revoked, after allegedly admitting that she had driven herself and Golden to the Sioux Center Bomgaars store.
