Boyden, Iowa — A farm tractor was damaged in an accident on Friday, July 31st near Boyden.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 8:23 pm, 31-year-old Jesse Verburg was driving a New Holland farm tractor with a front attaching bale spear northbound on Larch Avenue, three miles south of Boyden. According to the report, a mechanical malfunction caused him to lose control of the tractor and enter the west ditch.
The New Holland received $8000 damage.
No injuries were reported.
