Sibley, Iowa– A Minneapolis woman was taken to the hospital after an accident near Sibley on Sunday, March 5, 2023.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 5:05 p.m., 40-year-old Meauto Perryman of Minneapolis was driving a 2016 Hyundai northbound on Highway 60, about a mile south of the state line or six miles north of Sibley.
The report says that she hit some ice causing her to lose control of the vehicle and end up in the ditch.
The Sibley Ambulance took Perryman to Osceola Regional Health Center Hospital in Sibley.
Perryman’s Hyundai sustained $3000 in damages.
