Rock Valley, Iowa — A Rock Valley teen was taken to the hospital after a crash early on Saturday, June 13th.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 2:40 a.m., 15-year-old Maverick Landegent of Rock Valley was driving a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 westbound on 320th Street, three miles east of Rock Valley. Landegent lost control, and his vehicle entered the north ditch and rolled over.
Landegent was transported by the Rock Valley Ambulance to Hegg Health Center for treatment of his injuries.
The Dodge sustained approximately $15,000 in damage.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office tells us the Rock Valley Ambulance Squad, Rock Valley Fire Department, Rock Valley Police Department, and the Sioux Center Police Department assisted them with the response to the crash.
