Ireton Teen Goes Into Ditch, Then To Hospital

Ireton, Iowa — An Ireton teen suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash that happened shortly after midnight Wednesday, February 28th.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened when 17-year old Dylan Adams, of Ireton, lost control of his 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix, and entered the south ditch of 470th Street, about two miles west of Ireton.

Deputies say Adams was transported to the Hawarden Hospital by Ireton Ambulance for treatment of his injuries.

Authorities say Adams’ Pontiac sustained no damage in the mishap.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Ireton Fire Department and Ireton Ambulance.
