Hospers, Iowa — A semi-tractor and trailer were damaged in an accident near Hospers on Monday, August 17th.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 1:19 pm, 41-year-old Christopher Bammer of Mound City, Missouri was driving a 2005 Peterbilt semi-tractor pulling a trailer southbound on Highway 60. According to the report, Bammer lost control of the semi and entered the west ditch.
The Peterbilt received $7500 damage; the trailer received $1000 damage.
No injuries were reported.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Hospers Fire Department, Hospers Ambulance, and the Iowa State Patrol.
