Sheldon, Iowa — A Sheldon woman hit a parked car on Thursday, October 15th in Sheldon.
The Sheldon Police Department reports that at about 12:37 pm, 84-year-old Dolores Kruger was backing up a 2014 GMC Acadia from a parking spot on 4th Avenue. According to the report, Kruger back from her parking space, only to realize that she was partially in the northbound lane. As there was a northbound vehicle approaching her, she tried to quickly pull forward and struck a properly parked 2014 Toyota Venza.
The GMC and Toyota each received $2500 damage.
No injuries were reported.
