Sioux Center, Iowa — Sioux County authorities are seeking information into a shooting incident that occurred Thursday evening near Sioux Center.
According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, about 6:35 Thursday evening, deputies were dispatched to the report of the discharge of a firearm near a residence about a mile north of Sioux Center.
Deputies say a homeowner on 371st Street reported that a bullet was shot through a window and struck a cabinet in the home. Several neighbors reported hearing a gunshot, but no one could identify a source, according to authorities.
No injuries were reported.
