Rock Rapids, Iowa — A Sioux Falls man was arrested Tuesday by Lyon County authorities, in a case dating back to December of last year.
According to Lyon County authorities, they arrested 43-year-old Jorge Alvarado, of Sioux Falls, on a Lyon County arrest warrant for Eluding, which is a Class D Felony.
Online court records indicate the warrant was issued on December 29th, in connection with a pursuit in Lyon County.
Deputies say Alvarado was transported to the Lyon County Jail from the Minnehaha County Jail after waiving extradition. Alvarado was lodged in the Lyon County Jail on a $5,000 cash or surety bond.
According to online court records, Alvarado is scheduled for a Preliminary Hearing in the case at 2:00 pm Friday April 1st in Lyon County Magistrate Court.
