Spencer Man Lands In Jail After Reported Disturbance

Fostoria, Iowa – A Spencer man faces a litany of charges as the result of an investigation into a reported disturbance early Friday morning.

According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, around 3:20 Friday morning, their deputies responded to the report of a disturbance in the town of Fostoria.

According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the deputy’s investigation led to charges against 48-year-old Tyson Robbins of Spencer. Court documents indicate that Robbins is charged with: Attempted 2nd Degree Burglary, a Class D Felony; as well as Interference with Official Acts Inflicting Bodily Injury, Disorderly Conduct Causing Property Damage, 1st Degree Harassment, Operating a Vehicle Without the Owner’s Consent, all Aggravated Misdemeanors, and 4th Degree Criminal Mischief, a Serious Misdemeanor.

A Preliminary Hearing in the case is scheduled for June 8th. At last report, Robbins remained in the Clay County Jail at Spencer.
