It was State Championship Day for both State Baseball and State Softball.
Thursday crowned two champions in Class 2A and 4A softball. The remaining classes — 1A, 3A, and 5A — squared off Friday at the Harlan Rogers Sports Complex to decide their state titles.
On the baseball side, all four state championships were played Friday. Class 1A and 2A took place in Carroll, while Class 3A and 4A were set in Cedar Rapids.
