Suspicious Person Call Leads To Arrest

Hull, Iowa — The report of a suspicious person led to the arrest of a Kansas City truck driver earlier this week in Hull.

Sioux County authorities say they received a call from Agropur, Inc in Hull, about the driver of a semi-truck acting in a suspicious manner.

Deputies say further investigation revealed that the truck driver, 45-year-old Nicholas Davis, of Kansas City, had fallen and seemed disorientated. Davis was transported by Hull Ambulance to the Sioux Center Hospital for further medical attention. The investigation led deputies to suspect that Davis was under the influence of drugs, according to the report.

Deputies say Davis was released from the hospital and transported to the Sioux County Jail, where he was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (drugs).
