Hull, Iowa — Two people were taken to the hospital after a recent crash near Hull.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that 28-year-old Robert Lane of Sheldon was driving a 2002 Ford pickup westbound on Highway 18. He stopped for a turning vehicle ahead of him. They say that 25-year-old Dakota Boerhave of Ashton was driving a 2005 Dodge pickup westbound on Highway 18 behind Lane and struck the Ford.
The Boyden and Hull Ambulances took Lane and a passenger in the Boerhave Dodge to Sanford Sheldon Hospital.
They report that the Lane Ford sustained about $7,000 in damage, and the Boerhave Dodge sustained about $9,000 in damage.
Boerhave was cited on a charge of following too closely.
