UPDATE: Suspect Captured – Target Of Arrest Warrants Slips Away From Dickinson County Authorities

Milford, Iowa — A Milford man who evaded authorities that had come to serve a felony arrest warrant Monday has been captured.

According to the Milford Police Department, their officers, along with deputies from the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, conducted a joint operation in the Highway 71 corridor of Milford’s downtown area Monday to serve arrest warrants on an individual who is wanted for Robbery in the First Degree, along with other crimes.

Authorities say an attempt was made to apprehend Patrick Miles on those active arrest warrants by the HEAT tactical team, due to the high-risk nature of the arrest warrants.

When officers entered Miles’ home, they found that he had removed his court-ordered monitor bracelet and fled from the residence.

Miles has since been taken into custody. Authorities offered no details on his capture.
