Minneapolis, Minnesota and Rock Valley, Iowa – Rock Valley native and current Vikings linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel had the opportunity Wednesday, June 10th, to talk with local Minneapolis, Minnesota, media about Vikings minicamp practices.
Van Ginkel reflected on his offseason preparation for the upcoming training camp practices later this August as well as preparations for the upcoming National Football League (NFL) season, noting that he uses part of his training playing golf and playing with his boys.
Van Ginkel also said he is still working on how he and former first round pick Dallas Turner fit into Defensive Coordinator Brian Flores’ system after the team traded Jonathan Greenard to the Philadelphia Eagles this past offeseason.
