NCC Online Ag Associates Degree Program Ranked #3

Sheldon, Iowa — Online Schools Guide has ranked Northwest Iowa Community College’s Agricultural Program #3 in their list of Top 10 Online Agriculture Associate Degrees.

The editors at Online Schools Guide found schools offering two-year associate degrees in agriculture online or hybrid. Then, based on reputation, cost, and future salary, they ranked the Online Agriculture Associates programs.

According to Online Schools Guide website, “…Northwest Iowa Community College is one of the best online community colleges in the country, Iowa. The school is committed to each student’s success and offers on-campus classes and hybrid academic programs.”

NCC’s online two-year AAS degree in agriculture provides students the opportunity to seek employment in numerous careers which include ag sales, farm management, supplies and service, and production. The required coursework will provide students with a broad foundation and yet students may target their specific area of interest through selection of their ag electives.

Core courses range from Farm Management, Soils, and Animal Health, to Ag Selling and Introduction to GPS. Students also select Ag electives from their major area of interest. Graduates can find jobs in areas related to Ag Sales, Farm Management, Ag Suppliers, Ag Service, and Ag Production.
