Sheldon, Iowa – The ribbon was cut on a new Sheldon business Friday morning, with several local dignitaries on hand.
El Rancho is a new Mexican store, located next to the downtown open green space, in the 300 block of 9th Street. The business is owned and operated by the Martinez Family. Justin Martinez tells us what they have to offer, as well as their hours of operation.
SCDC President Barry Whitsell was on hand, and welcomed El Rancho to the Sheldon business community.
Sheldon Community Development Director Tania Herrera Gonzales spoke on behalf of the City of Sheldon.
The SCDC Ambassadors were represented by Skip Tanner, who presented a plaque to the Martinez family.
El Rancho in downtown Sheldon is open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm Tuesday through Sunday each week.
