Statewide Iowa (RI) — The Ankeny-based Casey’s convenience-store chain has released its new three-year plan.
CEO Darren Rebellez says the company plans to add at least 400 stores in a combination of buying and building new stores. The goal is to expand their presence in both existing and new markets. Rebellez says they will focus on adding small groups of stores but would consider a larger purchase if it makes sense for the company.
Casey’s last three-year plan had a goal of 350 new stores, and they ended up with 504. The company now has nearly 3,000 stores in 19 states, making it the third-largest convenience-store chain in the country.
