Statewide Iowa (RI) — The average price of a gallon of gas in Iowa has dropped 12 cents.
The report from AAA says the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas dropped to $3.66 in Iowa, following the Iran peace agreement. Gas prices are still 66 cents higher than one year ago, but they remain 37 cents below the national average of $4.03.
Diesel prices in Iowa fell 13 cents as of Wednesday to $4.74, which is 42 cents lower than the national diesel average.
