Sheldon, Iowa — Iowa US Senator Chuck Grassley was in Sheldon this week at Midwest Flying Service to find out about their operations, as part of his annual 99-county tour.
We had a chance to ask Grassley what is on the minds of Iowa residents during these stops.
We asked him if Congress was close to a solution on any of those issues.
He says it’s been a little more difficult to come up with solutions to the prescription drug price issue.
Grassley found out when he was at Midwest Flying Service that the company is one of only four or five in the nation that transport human organs for transplant and transplant teams to where they need to go. Grassley commented that he doesn’t think that Iowans brag enough about just how unique we are.
