Northwest Iowa (KUOO) – Look for additional law enforcement on the roads over this Memorial Day holiday weekend.
A special enforcement campaign on seat belt usage is currently underway, however Trooper Kevin Krull of the Iowa State Patrol says they’ll be on the lookout for other violations as well.
Krull adds motorists should also be prepared for some disruptions in their travels.
Krull says patience will be the name of the game, especially for those traveling through the Iowa Great Lakes corridor.
