Orange City, Iowa (KIWA/Sioux County Radio)– There are apparently some fake Orange City Tulip Festival Night Show tickets out there.
Festival organizers are warning guests about invalid Night Show tickets being sold through third-party websites like StubHub and other online marketplaces. Officials say the only authorized places to purchase tickets are through the Tulip Festival office or online at octulipfestival.com. Valid tickets will come directly from Ovation or the Tulip Festival.
Meanwhile, they are also reminding people that chairs may not be left overnight along the parade route. Any chairs left out each evening will be picked up and moved next to the Town Hall information booth. Officials say chairs may be placed along the route again after 7:30 each morning once city crews finish preparing the streets for the day’s festivities.
Also, they are reminding those who plan to have an entry in the parades that no candy, toys, or other items may be thrown from floats or moving vehicles. During the Thursday night Business Parade, participants may walk along the outer edge of the route to hand items directly to spectators. For safety, all visitors should remain behind the designated line. And they say, please do not play music from floats while on the parade route, as it can interfere with marching bands and flag corps performances.
