State Baseball began Tuesday for Class 2A in Carroll, with area teams meeting immediately as No. 3 West Lyon squared off against No. 6 Unity Christian in the first game of the opening round.
Following Monday’s postponements, Class 3A action was also set for Tuesday, with No. 6 MOC-Floyd Valley taking on No. 3 Xavier in the third game of the day at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
State Softball also continued Tuesday at Harlan Rogers Sports Complex, featuring winner’s-bracket and elimination games across all five classes. With first-round losses, Remsen St. Mary’s in Class 1A and Hinton in Class 2A each faced elimination games.
Semifinal action for Class 1A and 3A baseball is scheduled for Wednesday.
