Sheldon, Iowa (Sioux County Radio) — With RiseFest now less than two months away, organizers say one of their biggest needs isn’t on stage, but behind the scenes.
Rise Ministries founder and CEO Rob Rozeboom says volunteer sign-ups opened March 1st, and they have seen a strong response.
He says that while the number continues to grow, they are still short of their goal. Rozeboom added that organizers are also preparing for several upcoming announcements.
Volunteers help fill a wide range of roles, including greeting attendees, working in tents, assisting in prayer areas, and supporting other operations across the festival grounds.
Those interested can sign up online through the RiseFest website, where available roles and time slots are listed.
While the volunteer push is a key focus right now, Rozeboom says planning for the 20th RiseFest is otherwise coming together.
He says the artist lineup is nearly finalized, and early bird tickets remain available through the end of April before prices increase in May.
Beyond the event itself, Rozeboom says Rise Ministries continues to expand its reach, working with organizations across the country to bring more people and ministry opportunities to the region.
For now, he says the priority is making sure the volunteer team is fully in place ahead of June.
