Several NW Iowa Counties Awarded Federal Funding For Bridge Projects

Washington, D.C. (KUOO) — Several northwest Iowa counties will receive funds for bridge projects as a result of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley says the funding will assist in the placement of 67 bridges and culverts throughout Iowa.

Counties in our region with projects awarded the funding include Buena Vista, Dickinson, Emmet, Kossuth, Osceola, Pocahontas, and Sioux counties.

The awards will be administered through the DOT’s Competitive Highway Bridge Program.

40 Iowa counties were awarded funding.
