Alton, Iowa (Sioux County Radio) — A Sioux City woman was taken to the hospital after a rollover accident south of Alton on Saturday.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened shortly after noon on July 11th on Highway 60, about one mile south of Alton.
Deputies say 45-year-old Jenni Madison of Sioux City was driving northbound when she lost control of her vehicle. It entered the median and rolled.
Madison was transported by Alton Ambulance to Orange City Area Health System for treatment of minor injuries.
The vehicle sustained an estimated $12,500 in damage.
The accident remains under investigation.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Orange City and Alton fire departments, Alton Ambulance, the Orange City Police Department, and the Iowa State Patrol.
