Knoxville, Iowa (RI) — Reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson took advantage of a more than four-hour rain delay to win his fourth Knoxville Nationals title in six years.

Larson finished sixth in a Cup Series race in Richmond on Saturday night, then — with help from his Hendrick Motorsports team — caught a flight back to Iowa and made it to the track for the championship feature, which began in the early morning hours of Sunday.

Larson says the experience of doing the Indianapolis 500 and the Coca-Cola 600 double helped him handle the situation.

Larson’s previous Knoxville victories came in 2021, 2023, and 2024.
