Hull, Iowa — A child in a vehicle driven by a Sioux Center woman was taken to the hospital after an accident on Saturday evening, December 9, 2023.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 6:30 p.m., 21-year-old Luzdary Capriel of Sioux Center was driving a 2018 Ford EcoSport southbound on Harrison Avenue two miles northwest of Hull, when she lost control and the vehicle entered the west ditch.
The Hull Ambulance took one child passenger to Sioux Center Health. Another child passenger was transported by private vehicle to Sioux Center Hospital.
The Ford sustained about $5,000 in damage.
Capriel was cited on a charge of failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
The sheriff’s office reports that the Hull Fire Department and Hull Ambulance Squad assisted them with the response to the accident.
