Sibley, Iowa — A Little Rock man faces felony drug charges after a recent traffic stop.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, one of their deputies arrested 41-year-old Anton Eugene Alsip of Little Rock last week.
During a traffic stop at Pierce Avenue and 170th Street on the east side of Sibley, the deputy reports they found drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Alsip was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance third offense, a class D felony; and two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Simple Misdemeanor.
They tell us Alsip was booked into the Osceola County Jail and, at last report, was being held on a $5,000 bond. According to records filed at the Osceola County Clerk of Court office, he faces a preliminary hearing on the charges on Monday, September 26th. Court records indicate Alsip was arrested on the same felony charge in Lyon County last month.
