Alton, Iowa — An Alton woman was injured Friday evening in a single-vehicle rollover crash a mile south of Alton.
Sioux County authorities say 47-year old Kandace Scott of Alton was southbound on Highway 60 in a 2007 Saturn. After passing another southbound vehicle, deputies say Scott entered a curve in the roadway, lost control of her vehicle, entered the median and rolled.
Authorities say Scott was transported to the Orange City Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Scott was reportedly cited for Failure to Maintain Control. Damage to her car was estimated at about $5-thousand.
Deputies were assisted by the Alton Fire Department, Alton Ambulance, Orange City Police Department and the Iowa State Patrol.
