Sutherland, Iowa — A Sutherland man faces a felony charge after being arrested on a warrant charging him with the abuse of a 6-year-old boy.
According to court records, 26-year-old Kyle Ray Keleher is accused of spanking the boy when the child and his mother were making an overnight visit to Keleher’s residence, back in January of this year.
Police say the spanking left visible marks and bodily injury to the boy’s body.
Following the investigation, a warrant was issued for Keleher’s arrest on charges of Child Endangerment with Bodily Injury, which is a Class D Felony.
Online Jail Records from the O’Brien County Jail show that Keleher was arrested Wednesday night by Sutherland Police, and placed in the O’Brien County Jail at Primghar.
